Nearly March, Its that other big birthday month, {miss you on yours so much) Adam will be celebrating in Australia, Margaret will be celebrating with you, Lee celebrating too. So much happened in last 2 months, Stella is on the mend but don't think it will ever get back to normal. Its been hard, but we know you've been on the journey with us , we've all carried you in our hearts. Spring, new growth and new opportunities hopefully for our family. You stay with us every day and the memories of our lives with you just get stronger. Love and miss you

December has arrived, busy time, memories of staying up late to wrap presents. snowed in a the flat, one year it snowed so bad we couldn't get out, but you still made it to work to get paid for the christmas goodies and presents. Cold dark nights, but always together. Christmas memories of visits to Grans, mums, and Sisters on every Christmas holiday day there was. Missing you so much but were all keeping you with us in our hearts. Adam and Megan celebrating in Australia this year, keep them safe please darling.

In October already. The month you said doesn't exsist and renamed it OCTNEMBER! 3 main birthdays in the same week. Wonderful memories of parties when the girls were little and trips to Alton Towers when they got a bit older, we always tried to have a few days off to celebrate, Especially remember when we went to London (many years ago) and we had a mini heatwave. Its a milestone birthday for Sarah and we will miss you so much, but you'll be there in our hearts to celebrate with us. Love and miss you darling.

September memories, back to school and Uni. Autumn leaves - lots of them to clear up in the garden, nights getting darker and all the overtime you did when we were in the flat, seamed like you'd missed the whole day and never got to see Stella on Thursdays. Missed you then each Thursday and miss you now each day. Hope you enjoyed our trip to Suffolk and North Scarle over the last 2 weeks. August already in, Summer memories are sweet and bright, thinking back to Caravan times at 'Summerlands' Skegness although we didn't always get good weather we made the best of it with the girls and had good times. Adam got off to Australia safely and Molly had a wonderful graduation we missed you . Our love and hearts kept you close. Olympics are on way Know you'd be watching them. lots of pears on the tree this year, memories of trying to gather them up and each year you threatening to cut them down- but you always let me keep them. July already, thoughts turning to Summers past, so so many good memories, always thinking of being together with family finishing school for the '6 weeks holidays'. Most exciting when we all managed to get away for the 'Wakes weeks' because Most of Sheffield had to have those weeks. All the big works closed as many as 14 fus all together on holiday. And of course still cricket season and doing the tea's on a saturday afternoon. How things change over the years. Our first grand daughter born this month Megan so beautiful and has brought us so much joy. Time passes so quickly but I've got so much to remember with you. Molly has got her degree I know you'll be so proud 2 - 1 You had every faith in her and helped her to believe in herself as you did with all our grand children. Adam is off to Australia at the end of the month, got a post doctorate job at University of western Australia, he's there for 3 years, you'll be bursting with pride again, keep him safe please darling. I so miss you're presence but I've got all our wonderful memories and your heart with me, and that will get us through another July. Love You,

Well 1st week in June and typical British weather, Glorious one day and wet and cold another. June has so many wonderful memories as well, thinking cricket season is well and truly going. Remember the 'Alfred and burnt cakes incident). I was so sure the flat would have burnt down seeing as the loaf of bread had been in the oven for 5 hours while the whole match had been played. You loved to tell that story and what a wonderful memory it gives me. Miss you so much and the sunshine and your smile is always bright in June .

Were into the first week of May, good holiday memories of this month. We managed to get a few in, mainly because they were affordable and weather would be good, as well as some birthdays fall with the siblings. Hope you enjoyed this latest visit to Alanya. Always with me wherever we are. Molly has finished her degree and Evie done her mocks for this year May has been busy for them. Adam is getting things sorted for his post in Australia. I know you'd be bursting with pride for all of them. Just as they are so proud of you.

Still in April and thinking of you all day yesterday. Would have been 55 yrs since we started our lives together. Remembering all the anniversaries we've shared and the celebrations we have had. Most of all the gift of bringing 2 wonderful, thoughtful, caring and loving daughters into this world. Then it became 'our very own family' as it increased with our fantastic grandchildren. We all miss you but keep you in our hearts always. We still turn to you for guidance and you still keep on giving. Oh by the way it didn't rain yesterday. Love you always xx

Here we are in April and Evie's Birthday today. Been to Meadowhell and thinking of you all day. Its a whole year since and it seems like a lifetime. April was always busy month for us as a family, it still is. Missing your presence but still feeling your guidance. We have so many loving memories. Love you always. xxxx

Well sunshine its March already, lots of memories, big month for birthdays including yours. Wonderful memories of celebrations for family - Adam, Lee, Margaret and of course you. Meals together, trips to Cheltenham Gold Cup, so much love and laughter over the years. Signs of spring and garden needing work (which you hated but still did). Love and miss you darling.

Into February dearest, Cold and damp month, snow and fog but the snowdrops are here, not so many as usual, probably because you didn't kill the moss. I always complained you controlled the moss but we had burnt grass all summer, I know why now, it allowed the snowdrops to grow in February. I should have listened instead of complaining. Hope you enjoyed Tenerife, you were with me in my heart.

A Week into the start of a new year, Remembering all the years we looked forward and hoped for our family to have a good year. Well this year will be so empty without you but we're still looking to the future because we carry you with us in our hearts and know you will still guide us. Missing you so much but staying strong like you would want.

December already, Christmas in the forethought, and trying to be organised but never was. Wrapping presents till late but you were always there to listen to me complain about 'what' to give 'who' and you saying 'you've only had a year to make up your mind - seeing as you got some in the January sales'. Just done the christmas cakes with Adam, still done you a 'sample one', remembering the times when you got up in the morning to the delicious smell and your comment was always smells great could have eaten a piece in the night! LY xx

Another month, I remember all the bonfire nights and fireworks we had. Especially when it was at your Mum & Dads. Nellie made bonfire night great for the kids, We had a few at Stanhope road and later went to the community ones. I hated the fireworks but you were always there to help us enjoy it. Will miss you so much this year.

Remembering Adams Graduation at York and the lovely day we spent together, he's had another Graduation for his Doctorate at Cambridge today, I know you would be so very proud.

That month you always said shouldn't exist and you've changed it to OCTEMBER. Well it's here again darling and it wont be the same this year, but memories of all those Octobers we laughed and worried together are in my heart and thoughts.

September already darling, start of the darker nights and last of the warm summer sun. Memories of returning to school or university. Journeys to London and Birmingham, and silent return journeys home, but it didn't matter, it was a time we didn't need to talk just feel. Your in my heart always darling.

Bank Holiday and remembering years of log cabin and golf stays in Millfield. The thunderstorm and no lights for hours - but it didn't matter. Happy memories, Missing you so much
